DELIVERY MANAGER - FULL TIME, LONDON

We currently have an exciting opportunity in our IT Operations & Engineering department for a Delivery Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised, strong communicator to join END - the leading global online destination for contemporary a Delivery Manager.

Working alongside our Squads, your main focus will be removing friction; allowing them to ship their best work without distraction or blockers. You’ll bring new ideas, build a learning culture, especially with regards to Agile and Lean best practices, and be constantly looking to improve the way we work.

You’ll be concerned with the health and happiness of the team members and how they work together. You will encourage and motivate the team and protect them from distractions, so they are able to focus on what they are best at.

What you’ll be doing:

Key responsibilities

  • Work with our Engineering, Design and QA chapters to define and improve our testing and review processes to help maintain high standards across our apps.
  • Work alongside the Product Team to refine the backlogs and plans sprints, ensuring all tickets are 'ready'
  • Attend sprint reviews and run retrospectives to gather feedback on processes and team happiness.
  • Report on team productivity to identify and remove any bottlenecks.
  • Suggest and implement new Agile & Lean practices.
  • Assist the Engineering and QA chapters with deployment planning.
  • Make adjustments to process based on retrospective data.
  • Be a point of contact for everything Jira related; from maintenance, change requests and improving workflow, to creating filters, dashboards and reports.
  • Assist with stakeholder management via email, Teams, Teams Central, meetings and Slack.
  • Constantly improve our delivery processes to support a quickly scaling department.
  • Work with our squads to foster a culture of delivery and personal accountability.

What you’ll be able to demonstrate:

Skills and experience

  • Must be a strong communicator, who is comfortable raising and mitigating risks.
  • An ability to focus on the details whilst also having an understanding of the bigger picture.
  • Uncompromisingly organised and always prepared with a plan B (C & D)
  • Good stakeholder management.
  • Strong intuition and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Agile delivery is a plus.
  • Empathetic, enthusiastic and engaged in all things at END.
