Working at the heart of the END. business in our buying team, the successful candidate will support the senior buyers in nurturing the current offer and developing the business within the Accessories and Lifestyle department.

With this in mind, in addition to becoming a key point of contact for our suppliers, the successful candidate will have a genuine interest in this area and be able to identify new brands and growth opportunities for END. in this fast-moving area.

As a Junior Buyer you will work with the department Senior Buyers to acquire and onboard new brands, place orders, manage supplier relationships, and collaborate with the wider business to ensure that our portfolio lands successfully in a way that both excites & engages the END. Consumer.

What you’ll be doing:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Become a key point of contact on a day-to-day basis within the business for all accessories, grooming and homeware brands.
  • Manage a portfolio of brands, reporting into the senior buyers.
  • Attend relevant buying appointments and other buying related trips.
  • Take ownership of the order process alongside the senior buyers, ensuring all product orders are placed in a timely manner.
  • Take ownership of all order confirmation reconciles in conjunction with the merchandising and buying admin team.
  • Manage new supplier introductions, ensuring that new brands are aware of contacts within the business and relevant information such as delivery and invoicing procedures.
  • Work closely with the merchandising team on re-orders, to ensure all opportunities are maximised.
  • Ensure the wider business is aware of department priorities.
  • Work closely with the merchandising team to read reports that ensure that performance is monitored accordingly – highlighting key findings that can benefit the business.
  • Work closely with END.’s suppliers to find opportunities to develop and grow the business.
  • Work closely with the senior buyers to develop the offer, selection, and strategy.
  • With guidance from senior buyers, work with suppliers to increase margins and improve terms.

What you’ll be able to demonstrate:

Skills and experience

  • Strong interest an enthusiasm for the industry and product in general.
  • Educated to Degree level.
  • Highly analytical
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft products.
  • Highly professional, an outstanding communicator, and have strong networking skills.
  • Show initiative and can work independently.
  • Organised and efficient.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate good judgement and strong decision-making skills
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to make strong commercial decisions.
  • Previous buying experience is essential.
