PEOPLE ADVISOR - SYSTEMS & ANALYTICS – FULL-TIME, WASHINGTON

We currently have an exciting opportunity in our People Team for a People Advisor. The Systems & Analytics Advisor will have ownership for the successful implementation, maintenance and output of the People (HRIS) Systems. This role serves as a technical point-of contact supporting the HR system needs of the business. Working closely with the People team and key stakeholders across the business to ensure data accuracy integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and running/analysing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The role will be responsible for auditing and reviewing internal processes to ensure we have the system functionality that supports our teams and drives efficiencies. The role also supports system upgrades, testing and other technical projects as assigned.

What you’ll be doing:

Key responsibilities

Systems & Analytics

  • Updating and maintaining the people data to enable access to company platforms
  • Data management, monitoring quality and cleansing as needed
  • Partner with the People team and key stakeholders across the business to support BAU activities as well as driving improvements through data driven decision making
  • Creating and sustaining workflows and rules within the systems
  • Implement all upgrades and changes for the HR function as required
  • Maintain an understanding of legislative requirements to meet our legal obligations
  • Preparing and sharing reports and dashboards
  • Access management and role set up within any People Systems
  • Implement new systems as required
  • Pro actively seek ways to improve the way we use systems/processes
  • People team SME for any other systems across the business where the People team have requirement
  • Provide cross-functional support during pay period closure deadlines, ensuring colleagues are onboarded and paid correctly

Employee Relations

  • Collaborate closely with managers to understand their people related needs, provide guidance on best practice and support them in fostering a positive and engaging work environment.
  • Coach and train managers to develop the capability and confidence to handle all employee relations situations effectively and consistently and wherever possible resolve matters informally.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers in handling complex absence, disciplinary and grievance issues, conflict resolution, and ensuring a fair and inclusive workplace.
  • Review all employee relations matters to identify key learning points and any action as appropriate.
  • Support and coach managers with performance related matters ensuring any issues are managed effectively and development and performance improvement plans are in place.
  • Provide advice and guidance to line managers on employment legislation and company policies.
  • Ensure effective implementation of new or revised procedures and policies and provide support and training to managers as required.
  • Pro-actively contribute to the development of people projects and initiatives to improve the people experience and increase employee engagement.

    • Qualified to or working towards Level 5 CIPD.
