FINANCE ANALYST- SYSTEM, DATA AND ANALYTICS - FULL TIME, TIXED TERM FOR 9 MONTHS, NORTH SHIELDS

We currently have an exciting opportunity in our team for a Finance Analyst- System, Data and Analytics. We are passionate at END. about the value systems create in driving the business forwards to support performance, efficiency and scalability. This role will be a core part of our finance team and support the wider business with the goal of creating best in class systems, processes and controls.

What you’ll be doing

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with Finance and IT, from within the Commercial Finance function, to understand ERP (D365) data and process flows
  • Supporting the implementation and go-live of WMS (D365 Advanced Warehousing) from a Finance perspective (Reporting, journal postings, stock and balance sheets)
  • Offering insight into best practice in D365FO in preparation for WMS.
  • Supporting the business strategy and the finance system development roadmap.
  • Identifying and implementing new technologies, processes and controls.
  • Working closely with all areas of the finance team to drive improvements and change.
  • Preparing the Finance team for system change and offering guidance/management through the change alongside Systems Finance Manager

What you’ll be able to demonstrate

Skills and experience:

  • Part Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
  • Proven ERP/financial systems experience and understanding.
  • Strong accounting understanding with the ability to support systems improvements.
  • Experience of working in a finance department and excellent transferable skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly analytical, with the ability to manipulate and analyse high volumes of transactional data with ease.
  • A passion for technology, driving efficiency improvements, innovation and automation.
  • Proven capability of collaborating with people and teams to deliver positive change.
  • Ambitious, proactive, and self-motivated.
  • Excellent IT skills, specifically advanced Excel and systems knowledge.
  • E-commerce / retail sector experience beneficial, but not a pre-requisite.
