FINANCE MANAGER – FP&A – FULL-TIME, NORTH SHEILDS

We currently have an exciting opportunity in our Finance department Finance Manager responsible for planning, analysis and commercial. You will be joining our award-winning Finance department in one of the most exciting, high-growth businesses in the country. You will be working closely with the senior leadership and exec team.

What you’ll be doing:

Key responsibilities

  • Work cross functionally to deliver and develop budgeting & forecasting models
  • Support continued evolution of planning and analysis to aid decision making
  • Evolve the financial planning process to determine the profit & loss, balance sheet and cashflow plans requirements for the business
  • Assist with delivery & insights of the monthly MI pack
  • Drive forward the trade reporting using systems & reporting tools
  • Translate financial data & analysis into meaningful insights that will directly impact the business performance
  • Develop consistent internal reporting to stakeholders to provide insight & opportunities
  • Business partner to departments with the aim to maximise revenue & profit
  • Assist in seeing business projects through to a successful conclusion

What you’ll be able to demonstrate:

Skills and experience

  • High calibre qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
  • Significant experience of working in a finance department with excellent transferable skills and driven to make a difference.
  • E-commerce / retail sector experience beneficial, but not a pre-requisite
  • Ambitious, passionate, hardworking attitude and can operate in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Highly analytical, with the ability to manipulate and analyse high volumes of data and drive commercial insight
  • Excellent IT skills, specifically advanced Excel & systems knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills in order to liaise with stakeholders at all levels & cross functionally
  • Commercial acumen and exposure to / understanding of the global currency markets would be beneficial
