FINANCE MANAGER- FINANCE - FULL-TIME, NORTH SHIELDS

We currently have an exciting opportunity in our Finance department for a Finance Manager This is a pivotal role here at END. responsible for supporting our growth and team development.

What you’ll be doing:

Key responsibilities

  • Working within the Group Finance team to support a range of key deliverables and requirements:
    • Team management and development,
    • Process and controls mapping and improvements,
    • Efficiency and optimisation projects,
    • Managing key stakeholder requirements, including internal and external stakeholders,
    • High quality reporting
    • Driving initiatives to improve the support finance provides as both a business and process partner.
  • Key areas of responsibility within the Group finance function include:
    • Management reporting and business partnering,
    • Risk and controls management,
    • Inbound shipping and inbound clearance,
    • Purchase Order planning,
    • Accounts Payable,
    • Fraud and Payments,
    • Statutory Reporting.
  • As a senior member of the finance team, you’ll also be responsible for supporting the leadership and development of the team, creating a positive and collaborative culture, and mentoring team members (direct and indirect reports).

Skills and experience

  • High calibre qualified, with strong people management experience.
  • Passion about developing people and driving positive change and improvements.
  • Highly analytical and process orientated.
  • Excellent IT skills, specifically advanced Excel & systems knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ambitious, focused on delivery with quality and accuracy.
  • Self-starter able to work autonomously and find solutions to complex and sometimes challenging problems.
  • Confident in presenting to non-finance management.
  • Ability to juggle multiple workstreams and timelines.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Flexible approach to adapting role to support business requirements and important deliverables.
