END. currently has four bricks and mortar stores in the UK with a fifth opening in Manchester in Summer 2022. The Milan Flagship Retail Store will be our first store outside of the UK, which makes this one of our most exciting ventures to date. The store will showcase the latest streetwear, womenswear and lifestyle brands in our portfolio; it will offer a new consumer experience for our Italian customers. Which makes this a brilliant opportunity for the right person to be a pioneer in our international expansion as the Flagship Store Manager

What you'll be doing:

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the Milan store opening plan to deliver upon agreed strategies meeting all END. operational standards.
  • Drive costs in line with revenue forecasting, budgets and KPIs.
  • Drive business growth through the development of new ideas and creative solutions based on the thorough analysis of KPI performance.
  • Recognise, recruit and develop talented individuals for advancement and growth within and beyond the store environment.
  • Relationship build to develop partnerships that will increase turnover. Whether this be with staff, customers or external associates.
  • Coach and mentor direct reports to improve performance and develop future leaders.
  • Apply END. SOP’s across the operation ensuring compliance by all employees through comprehensive and rigorous training.
  • Provide feedback, development plans, follow ups and take actions to improve performance and develop your team accordingly.
  • Work in partnership with retail merchandising as well as warehouse and stock control teams to implement action plans to increase turnover and profitability driven by product.
  • Prepare weekly reporting for relevant stakeholders, including figures, snapshot of trade, highlights, lowlights and any suggestions to improve the business.
  • Manage stock inventory and maintain loss prevention procedures.
  • Support the Retail Auditing Team in all Stock Counts.
  • Inspire and excite your audience, staff and customers alike.
  • Build relationships to develop partnerships that will increase turnover. Whether this be with staff, customers or external associates.
  • Engage with and stay up to date with external influences i.e. media, popular culture, local community and industry trends. Use this knowledge to maximise marketing and sales opportunities by ensuring the store remains commercial to the local marketplace.
  • Ensure that the store image is in line with business standards by conducting floor walks on a daily basis to maintain awareness of product and merchandising standards, ensure the team are utilising floor plans, replenishing stock and following VM guidelines.
  • Manage scheduled hours to meet payroll budgets whilst ensuring productivity is optimised.
  • Regularly review and monitor security measures for cash and inventory control.
  • Ensure Health & Safety, legal and security issues are being managed to END. Standards complying with local law to secure employee and public safety at all times.

What you'll be able to demonstrate:

Skills and experience

  • Extensive Store management and store opening experience in high profile locations.
  • Proven leadership qualities in developing and mentoring retail leaders, experience of building a team through the recruitment and development of talent (Manager and advisor levels)
  • Comprehensive understanding of the industry, broad commercial awareness with extensive knowledge of challenges and changes within the sector.
  • Able to make decisions that impact the achievement of longer-term objectives and financial performance, with a solid understanding of retail metrics and using analytics in a business environment
  • Positively impacts customer experience through the performance of the department.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to influence opinions of stakeholders including peers, seniors and team members. Able to exchange ideas and information in a clear, concise and straightforward way.
  • Establishes collaborative stakeholder relationships internally and externally to successfully impact the overall business performance.
  • Lead the development of solutions that go beyond existing ways of working or current responses to business challenges.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong negotiation skills combined with an adaptable approach to selling
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and know when to seek guidance.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office; specifically, Word and Excel.
  • Fluent in Italian and English
