Earlier this year, The Carlyle Group, one of the world’s largest and most respected private equity companies invested in END. and is working closely with END.’s Executive and Senior Leadership teams to develop its strategy help and accelerate and execute its growth plans. To support these initiatives, we’ve created this new role which will help manage, report on, co-ordinate and drive forward a range of multi-disciplinary projects. The role will be reporting into the CFO / CEOs.

END. has a range of exciting projects at a variety of stages of progression across all key areas of the business. These projects are focused on building END.’s platform and capability to support its ambitious growth plans over a 3 – 5 year view. Projects range from property / infrastructure investments, ecommerce engineering / platform developments, operational improvement projects, to customer services enhancements.

We’re looking for a proactive and driven PMO Lead, to work closely with the Executive and Senior Leadership to the help manage and drive forward high priority projects. We’re looking for someone with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and adaptive and responsive project management capabilities geared towards monitoring and reporting on projects and helping making positive change happen.

What you’ll be doing:

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for the programme management of strategic business projects and supporting the planning, prioritisation and implementation of key projects on behalf of the Executive and Leadership teams.
  • Develop a roadmap of business-critical projects to support the delivery of the growth strategy, with clear definition of project scope, goals and accountabilities.
  • Provide programme structure, detailed plans and all governance, ensuring robust approaches to engagement, project stakeholders and key business stakeholders.
  • Tracking project budget, develop & maintain project scope, deliverables and change control processes.
  • Co-ordination of project teams and ensure clear ownership, maintenance and reporting of plans and KPI's in place.
  • Day to day operational focus of the PMO, resource planning and allocation, ensuring governance gates are met.
  • Establish the risk and mitigation management process for all key projects.
  • Identify and maintain focus on deliverables with a specific focus on the dependency management process.
  • Ensure project management tools and principles are used throughout ensuring integration across the business.
  • Provide provision of tools, training, guidance and assurance at programme or project level across the business to support project delivery.
  • Track and report benefits realisation from project activities.
  • Accelerating delivery / proactively improving and developing projects and removing blockers.

  • A track record of delivering business transformation programmes across several organisations, and/or managing significant multi-disciplinary projects.
  • A collaborative, innovative and proactive leader, comfortable managing and driving change.
  • Someone who’s highly motivated, engaged, positive and can drive initiatives forwards to support best-in-class and high-quality delivery.
  • Someone’s who’s energised by working at a fast pace.

  • Someone who can keep things simple, reduce unnecessary complications and complexity to help deliver swift progress.
  • Degree educated and/or equivalent work experience.
