As a Menswear Buyer you will work with the department buyer to acquire and onboard new brands, place orders and manage supplier relationships, and collaborate with the wider business to ensure that our portfolio lands successfully in a way that both excites & engages the END. Consumer.

What you’ll be doing:

Key responsibilities

  • Become a key point of contact on a day-to-day basis within the business for a selected Portfolio of Ready to Wear / Apparel brands
  • Attend relevant buying appointments and other buying related trips.
  • Take ownership of the order process alongside the department buyer, ensuring all product orders are placed in a timely manner.
  • Take ownership of all order confirmation reconciles in conjunction with the Buying Admin Team.
  • Manage new supplier introductions, ensuring that new brands are aware of contacts within the business and relevant information such as delivery and invoicing procedures.
  • Ensure the wider business is aware of department priorities.
  • Work closely with the merchandising team to create reports that ensure that performance is monitored accordingly – highlighting key findings that can benefit the business.
  • Work closely with the department buyer to research, source and acquire new brands and collections to grow and develop the END. portfolio.
  • Work closely with END.’s suppliers to find opportunities to develop and grow the business.
  • Work closely with the buying team to develop offer, selection and strategy.
  • With guidance from the department buyer, work with suppliers to increase margins and improve terms.
  • Work to KPIs around sell through and margin.

What you’ll be able to demonstrate:

Skills and experience

  • Strong interest an enthusiasm for the industry and product in general.
  • Highly analytical
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft products.
  • Highly professional, an outstanding communicator, and have strong networking skills.
  • Show initiative and can work independently.
  • Organised and efficient.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate good judgement and strong decision-making skills
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to make strong commercial decisions.
  • Experience in a buying role is essential.
