IT SECURITY LEAD– FULL-TIME, WASHINGTON

We currently have an exciting opportunity in our IT Operations department for an IT Security Lead. IT Security is a critical business function within END Clothing. As a company that deals with a large volume of sensitive customer data, it is imperative that we adhere to modern security standards and remain compliant with the relevant regulations. Equally, the protection of our intellectual property and the productivity of our teams is essential to our continued success. The IT Security Lead will act as the main point of contact within the business for these matters and will facilitate the continued evolution of security and compliance around IT and data processing.

What you’ll be doing:

Key responsibilities

  • Policy, Process and Documentation
    • Coordinate the development of best practise policies and standards relating to IT Security
    • Take ownership of and further evolve the company security incident response process
    • Take the lead for ensuring the IT aspects of Disaster Recovery are known, documented and can be tested
    • Ensure that all policies and standards are regularly reviewed and updated to be in love with regulatory and control requirements.

    What you’ll be able to demonstrate:

    Skills and experience

    • Compliance
      • Identify areas of non or weak IT Security and drive improvement. This could be related to process, system security, documentation or any aspect of IT Security.
      • Develop and implement relevant IT Security reporting to management and risk committees.
      • Develop and manage an information security risk register to address risk issues and action plans from all sources

      • Conduct third party vendor risk assessments, make recommendations and perform periodic reviews.
